Curated by Windsor’s Dark Pages Horror Book Club, Nocturnal Rituals descends into the blurred terrain between haunted literature and cinematic memory. Centered around the growing world of “found footage” and haunted film novels, the evening explores how horror moves between page, screen, sound, and suggestion—shaping and reshaping itself through influence, distortion, and collective fear. From The Blair Witch Project and The Ring to A Head Full of Ghosts by Paul Tremblay and Black Flame by Gretch Felker Martin. The discussion traces the lingering dialogue between written horror and the moving image.
The evening culminates in an intimate Q&A with David J of Bauhaus, exploring the films, literature, surrealism, occult imagery, and shadow worlds that informed his music, artistic process, and enduring creative mythology.
Part literary séance, part cinematic salon, Nocturnal Rituals unfolds as a gathering for those drawn to the strange lives that stories continue to lead after dark
